In 2003 she went on to form Cardiff Bay Costumes Ltd, specialising in film and TV stock, and including an impressive collection of period costumes. Marigold started life in the Welsh Valleys in the 1960's as a theatrical costumiers who steadily built their stock up over the years and took over 'The Costume Studio'. In the late 1990's they moved to their present location in Cardiff and continued to flourish. In July 2005 Cardiff Bay Costumes Ltd and Marigold Theatrical Costumes consolidated their extensive stock to create Marigold Costumes Ltd. Since 2005 Marigold Costumes continued to expand its already extensive stock, has taken over much of the BBC Costume Department's haberdashery stock, and expanded to fill the entire ground floor of their present building, plus a few rooms on the first floor. And Marigold has had it's first billboard and made the cover of Radio Times when we supplied all the costumes for the popular BBC Wales production of "Coal House".
